Terraria’s 1.4.5 update, or the Bigger and Boulder update has released and with it comes lots of changes to the summoner class. Whip stacking is gone, there are lots of new whips, and even some pals from the Palwords crossover. Today we learn about some of those changes and experience the new summoner. Also I might have found the Heroicis’ set

    i love this update perfect time to be a summoner for the first time summoner became a whole class u can actually use it like the summons and whips are still like consistent i never used summoner because there were so many like missing whip spot like the meteor whip or cobweb whip but now the spaces are filed i hope summoner is fun

    I feel like the mushroom staff is there more as an introduction to summoner. New players might not get a finch staff or know flinx's even exist, and the slime staff isn't a guarenteed drop from King Slime, and new players might not even fight King Slime for a while since they'll probably first fight him when they get a slime rain, assuming they actually stay on the surface to fight the slimes.

    You could fight the Queen Bee and craft the hornet staff instead, but a lot of new players avoid the jungle because of the difficulty, and the Queen Bee is more difficult imo than either evil biome boss, so all in all, I'd say the mushroom staff is placed well in progression.

    Though, I am very grateful we received yet another update for our beloved game. For how long they took to release this update, I expected there to be a lot of more weapons, armor, and accessories regarding the crossovers.

    I legit stopped playing because I kept getting struck by lightning when trying to explore. I died 3 times, IN A ROW, TO LIGHTNING!!! I’m still pissed about that.
