Recently Concerned Ape talked about a secret that is yet to be found, while i was looking for something odd in the game art i stumbled across the joja cola vending machine in the salon.
The buttons on the machine reminded me to the simbols in the cave that talked about the iridium curse and the wizard sealing some monsters
Do you guys think this is actually something?

This secret message was decoded quite a while back.
I think there’s even a second message in the skull caverns you can find.
I mean unless ZN?DYPPRPDPD means anything in the context of vending machines (or ZN?DYMMRMDMD I guess?) then I’m not entirely sure this is an easter egg. If it is meant to be a code it’s probably not the same one as the skull caverns hidden message.
How did we reach this conclusion? I’m confused.
This is some good Mt. Chiliad mystery hunting but sadly I suspect the symbols on the Soda Machine are just a coincidence as the size of the sprite made 4px buttons look best. And simply there’s only so many ways to differentiate a 4px square
