Terraria 1.4.5 came out a few days ago, so lets compare the Best Terraria 1.4.5 New Features to the Worst Terraria 1.4.5 Additions.
Terraria’s new update added over 100+ new items and features, so naturally some will be better then others. Amazing features like the 35 Terraria 1.4.5 Secret Seeds or the DeadCells / Palworld crossover weapons or Skyblock and the trash additions like NPC Portraits.

4:24 – they added a menu (currently only on pc)
7:41 – they nerfed lightning (pc)
9:35 – they also added an option to change them (also only on pc)
I just finished the skyblock seed today and it was very very fun, but please PLEASE never pick a large world
They should have just made whip stacking over work with up to like idk 3 whips tbh.
5:50 this isnt an issue bc you can interact with the specific crafting station to only use that station, and also you can use the crafting filters, and you can also toggle the crafting from chest mechanic on and off

The only things that i dont like is
1. The outline on crafting stations and chests when u use smart cursor is extremely ugly
2. THEY REMOVED WHIP STACKING (they coulda just nerfed it??)
3. Melee is like the only class that got buffs and reworks despite already being the easiest and most op class😅
They should add a item (after you completed a invasion) so you could shut off the event from happening (like the calamity mod)

How do you see damage dealt to a boss during multiplayer?
I mean, melee was always the favourite child. It was the best class and they decided to buff it and nerf summoner for some reason lol
I'm a major hater on the removal of whip stacking, not as fun anymore.
10:30 you actuqlly can fight golem because defeating a boss gives all the stuff to defeat the next one
Also if you add secret seeds it adds more islands
The NPC Icons look straight up from a VN Romance game, if you know what i mean lol

Slime rain one is incorrect, you could use pylons in 1.4.4 when a slime rain was happening
I'm glad I'm not the only one that got the "Stardew Valley" feel from the NPC portraits. Terraria does a lot right, but between it's weird gender thing, and the oodles of random crossovers, one thing it doesn't do is "identity".
thanks god they added a button to disable those shitty npc portraits. They dont fit into the game at all
i personally like whipstacking being removed since now everyone can paly summoner
Hating the portraits is such a horrible opinion.
