What is the best kind of food to put in the soup??
Ive tried purple star quality fish, fruits, and vegetables, but the mayor only ever liked when i put a random fruit i found in it.
I cant remember what the fruit was, but it was silver star and he thought it made the soup amazing.
(By the way, i forgot about the festival and ended up putting sap in the soup, which led to the pictures)

I always go for putting either a gold or iridium quality sturgeon!
High quality Starfruit is my go to- the wiki has a full list of the qualities for each item because that will have a variable reaction too

I do iridium truffle
In my current game play I put Lewis underwear in the soup. I forgot I was carrying them in my hands and I gave him his underwear. He clearly thought some other villagers were pranking him.
But any high quality items should work.
Gold star sturgeon first year followed by iridium milk from then on. Super easy.
hahhahah I’ve never seen the Governor pass out. That’s bad.
Gold cheese is my go to, then iridium cheese.
