When modpack introduced me to canvases I for some reason didn't understand at first you can use them like that!

Using chalk to navigate is helpful, but I still find myself kinda confused with how far away I got in my exploration or how close I am to my home base.

And even if backrooms here actually give chills down my spine I found myself really liking to explore this vast and endless labyrinth. Most of the time corridors and pathways have similar patterns, but then there interesting rooms that either weird or just useful.

But the biggest problem that comes to making maps like that is really messed up proportions for some rooms. On second map you can see how one crossroad have "moving" markings because it actually should align with big room, but still be close to other rooms to make sense.
