I started this new tundra survival world and a couple days in I found a floating, “unwrecked” shipwreck floating almost perfectly on the water (although the hull is a bit too high). My friends and I are gonna give it sails and build a port around it.

Cool! Definitely drop the seed, this is a pretty uncommon occurrence especially that close to the world spawn. (It has to overwrite several different “parts” of the wreckage that normally are replaced with air blocks.)
The only other time I’ve seen one this complete was one of the versions where the ship was upside-down, finding an upright ship is really cool.
Since you’re building a port anyway, you might want to go ahead and just built struts underneath it as if it’s in a DryDock instead of trying to mass-flood an area to make the water table submerge the hull. Hope you upload a part 2 with the completed sails and rigging, or some dispenser cannons!
