These are the ultimate forms of a few tried and true utility items that were added in 1.4.4! They’ve been highlighted items that’ve received a fair bit of coverage, but I’ve wanted to make a video about a couple of them for months, so figured I’d go ahead anyways!

It will be nice when tmodloader is fully stable on 144 so I can maybe use some of these xD
i think you are wrong 3 most important items are copper pik and copper axe copper shortsword
they are new so yeah they're cool but i would argue in a list of the most useful, items, these don't all belong..could honestly maybe replace some of them with the terraspark boots

Wind Speed is useful in determining fishing power (which is its own item) and creature spawning. I'm currently using wind speed to find the gold water strider, since water striders generally spawn below 10 mph
When fishing in hell, dropped shell phone by accident when trying to use it. End of story. Sad ever after.
that stepstool's comedy factor is off the charts. I'll never forget the time i found it in a multiplayer playthrough, and just said "everybody shut up and look at me" then just stood on the stool and laughed.
That rod of discord I’ve managed to get only one in so many different worlds, and it was my original game I lost somehow along the way. Useful isn’t even the word 🙂
I would add it the capacity to teleport to your friend's position to the Shellphone, it adds a utility that makes sense with the thing. Also I would add more things to the Glove; following the logic you showed there, adding all gems and spirits to make a Glove that gives 50% chance of not consuming blocks when building, the step could be used mid air to stop fall/lock in place.
insane you can make a full 7 minute video about stuff that can be read in 1 and moan about no monetization while largely using someone elses work 😢😢😢

ok so on one hand the actual content of the video is pretty cool and good but also watching the razorblade typhoon combat is like eye asmr lolllll
I use the Hand all the time after an event or in an area I’m over powered for to grab loot easier.
i hate how all these items are great for reducing time wasted doing meaningless tasks but you need to waste time to get said items

What's awesome about the shellphone is that it gives you an extra home, essentially. You will likely have a base right at world spawn, since you usually just build there at the beginning of the game, so you can freely set "home" to wherever you want.

I have a serious question: Why does your inventory look blue and have frames around some of the items?
Imagine an upgrade to the shell phone that lets you teleport to the middle surface part of any biome

The wind speed is used for only one thing, the most important and pivotal thing added to Terraria… golfing.
People underestimate the combination of sunflower + heart lamp + heart statues + honey + campfire + bast statue + banners
Wind speed determines the spawning of certain creatures and events, as someone who tried farming every gold critter, this info was vital

I feel that the terraspark boots are also one of the best accessories added. It’s awesome.

The rod of harmony is less useful than the rod of discord. Its post moonlord. Post moonlord items are really just for vanity and dont really have a use.

weather is amazing on seeds like the zenith seed where you don't really even know if it is night without a watch. also higher windspeed makes sandstorms more common, and the effect more powerful. additionally after a certain wind speed the "windy day" event becomes a thing. The use is very niche but it can be useful.
Shellphones item in the inventory is different from then one thwt appears when you are going to make it in the crafting bench
