This new Boss is really harder than Skeletron. Terraria 1.4.5 Boss explained!
Terraria 1.4.5 new boss is not a copy cat from Legendary Mode skeletron, it got huge buff and changes.
When I fought this boss for the first time, I noticed there’s something wrong with it, it’s tanky, deal more damage, it’s fast, can attack while spins, Spawn dark caster without hands destroyed and Dark caster shoot and teleport much faster. So I asked my friend Ellen tsukimade_hishou to check the code about this boss to find the exact numbers it got buffed.

This secret variant Skeletron + For the Worthy modifier make Skeletron Prime that was meant the harder version of it become a joke.
I wish they add laser barrage when one of it's hand got destroyed.

I tried this boss on my drunk world playthrough, he doesnt have arms when spawned. Is it a feature with drunk world or I simple just glitched the game? Every videos I watch have him spawned with 2 arma
The dev in Re-Logic who told that adding those effects in Chippy's Dark Casters was a good idea, is pure evil

Answer: yes, u can use this summon until Golem (Dark Harvest + Blade Staff is OP)

The Active Chippy's Cloak obtained by defeating him in Master Mode was useful in the early stages of Hard Mode, but it's a shame was patched in 1.4.5.4.
