  1. Also, at 150 quests it is +566.7% not +666.7%, oops

There's also fancy stuff with stuff rolling before other stuff, and the accessory rolls being unified in 1.4.4, but this isn't the Travelling Merchant probability video so I'm going with the plain and simple (modifying drop rates).

  2. Im currently doing angler quests in my world an i swear that besides the guaranteed rewards the only other worthwhile rewards I've gotten was the angler earing and I'm around 40 quests in

  3. Its nice seeing the absolutely DISGUSTING propaganda made agaist this absolute connoisseur of the most highly sophisticated activity of fishing being disproven again, the sin's of these helper min-i mean absolute TROGLODYTES won't be pardoned! -fishingboy200

  4. Wait, angler quests scale with happiness? So me putting him in the ocean with the pirate and stylist actually mattered all along?

I thought people were just exaggerating when they said they take forever.

  5. speak for yourself I tried 10 quests
5 of them I couldn't do because I don't have a bottomless water bucket and can't get enough water there in time
the other 5 gave me the f(&^ing fish cart

  6. Who cares. I fucken mod it anyway, because life is too short to do one quest a day for some stupid achievement or to get specific items in larger quantities from fishing.

    Good video though.

  7. I don't ever do fishing quests, I hate that demon NPC (his hat hides his devil horns)

So knowing happiness effects drops, dear God my rates must be horrific

  8. I've done almost two full days of angler quests, gotten two of one set and one of the other one, plus dozens of wall ornaments and paintings =D
rngesus was not with me on this one

  9. Unfortunately, from my experience, an Angler with Party Girl at the Ocean biome still doesn't make him give what I need for my Shellphone, therefore he must be subjected to the Marrow Furnace

  10. I was in the middle of typing out "what happens if you get over 100% drop odds on the angler items?" as you directed me to your other video (which I had already seen, but forgotten, sorry)

  11. Tip for maximising NPC's happiness: NPCs only check for a home tile assigned to a liked NPC, not the NPC itself. So if you want to max Angler's happiness while still having a happy Demolitionist for example, you can just keep an unoccupied house next to the Angler, then right before completing a fishing quest set it as Demolitionist's house, complete the quest, then go back to the place your Demolitionist usually lives and put him back there. You don't need to wait for the Demolitionist to move in, as long as he's counted as living next to the Angler, the latter wil be happy.

Admittedly, this method was more useful back when Pigronatas dropped Bacon to make both Party Girl and Angler happy when it counts, but maybe someone will still find it useful today.
