Also, at 150 quests it is +566.7% not +666.7%, oops
There's also fancy stuff with stuff rolling before other stuff, and the accessory rolls being unified in 1.4.4, but this isn't the Travelling Merchant probability video so I'm going with the plain and simple (modifying drop rates).
when I started doing fishing quests on my new world I had the angler with the party girl in the ocean and I got the golden bug net on my 2nd and 3rd quest lol
On my last playthrough I got the golden bug net on my 2nd quest. Crazy stuff
Forget the guide, the voodoo doll should have been of this dude.
Im currently doing angler quests in my world an i swear that besides the guaranteed rewards the only other worthwhile rewards I've gotten was the angler earing and I'm around 40 quests in
Its nice seeing the absolutely DISGUSTING propaganda made agaist this absolute connoisseur of the most highly sophisticated activity of fishing being disproven again, the sin's of these helper min-i mean absolute TROGLODYTES won't be pardoned! -fishingboy200
Wait, angler quests scale with happiness? So me putting him in the ocean with the pirate and stylist actually mattered all along?
I thought people were just exaggerating when they said they take forever.
This lowkey useful for the skyblock world I'm playing, don't like fishing in different areas I made.
Cool, but how do I make him to finally want bumblebee tuna to get a honey bucket? I'm at 197 quests done since I started counting them…
So you’re telling me I actually have to make this freak happy
Okay to everyone complaining about the happiness, y'all really be admitting to commiting cruelty on a walking goldfish
This is actually pretty easy and straightforward. If you catch around seven quest fish every single day you’ll be set for majority of the game.
speak for yourself I tried 10 quests
5 of them I couldn't do because I don't have a bottomless water bucket and can't get enough water there in time
the other 5 gave me the f(&^ing fish cart
Who cares. I fucken mod it anyway, because life is too short to do one quest a day for some stupid achievement or to get specific items in larger quantities from fishing.
Good video though.
I don't ever do fishing quests, I hate that demon NPC (his hat hides his devil horns)
So knowing happiness effects drops, dear God my rates must be horrific
Surprised to see that angler's happiness has an effect. Can't wait to see use for guide's happiness
I love that you use a lot of omori music its so fire
i hate the happiness system so much
I've done almost two full days of angler quests, gotten two of one set and one of the other one, plus dozens of wall ornaments and paintings =D
rngesus was not with me on this one
Terraria wiki, as good as it might be casually, desperately needs updates from well informed people!
If you have the ability, help contribute!
tbh the only thing that makes me hate the cell phone tree is the fcking fish finder accessory
Unfortunately, from my experience, an Angler with Party Girl at the Ocean biome still doesn't make him give what I need for my Shellphone, therefore he must be subjected to the Marrow Furnace
I was in the middle of typing out "what happens if you get over 100% drop odds on the angler items?" as you directed me to your other video (which I had already seen, but forgotten, sorry)
Since the multiplier for the denominator decreases linearly after 150 fishing quests, won't it eventually reach 0 and cause an error?
Colocar ele com a party girl tbm aumenta a felicidade dele, ao menos percebi isso ao por o npc goblin com a driad e com o vendedor de tintas.
Tip for maximising NPC's happiness: NPCs only check for a home tile assigned to a liked NPC, not the NPC itself. So if you want to max Angler's happiness while still having a happy Demolitionist for example, you can just keep an unoccupied house next to the Angler, then right before completing a fishing quest set it as Demolitionist's house, complete the quest, then go back to the place your Demolitionist usually lives and put him back there. You don't need to wait for the Demolitionist to move in, as long as he's counted as living next to the Angler, the latter wil be happy.
Admittedly, this method was more useful back when Pigronatas dropped Bacon to make both Party Girl and Angler happy when it counts, but maybe someone will still find it useful today.
so, why hasn't anyone just updated the wiki to multiply that 0.9 onto every fishing quest reward's denominator?
3:31 pretty house ;D
2:47 haha…
