I ranked NEW Marriage Candidates for Stardew Valley 1.7 Update
I made a tier list of who I think are the MOST and LEAST likely to be the new 1.7 Stardew Valley Marriage Candidates. This is mostly just for fun to see how close or far off I am, but I wanted to give my thoughts and more importantly here YOURS! Who are you hoping for? The new candidates will be announced on Feb 26, 2026. 10 days to speculate! We will cover everyone from Mayor Lewis, to Linus, to Sandy, to Birdie…. and of course Pam, Gus, and more.

I think Sandy is a given. Willy would be who I would want for the male candidate, but I think it is going to be Clint. I would prefer 2 brand new villagers though
marnie actually is a probable idea, we can ruin her romance with lewis just like we can do it with clint and emily

My problem with most of these characters, is that they are simply too old. All of the current marriage candidates are relatively young. I would put all of these characters into D tier. Except Sandy in S. And Clint MAYBE in C. I'm pretty confident 1 if not all 2 are gonna be new characters.

i think linus is probably no option because he hate the idea to live in the farm

You're wild for putting Linus anywhere above D tier. If he already didn't want to just live in a shack on our farm he would never sacrifice his happiness living outdoors for a relationship in a cushy house with us.
I think you’re really really underselling the Wizard considering on the poll Concerned Ape made before adding Shane and Emily as romanceables, their runner ups were The Wizard and Sandy
I’d take anyone but Clint, tbh, but preferably someone on the older side. Most current marriage candidates make me feel like a cradle robber.
