ImO it’s not Mojang’s or Microsofts Buissiness to decide what I can and cannot do in a game, it’s either my buissiness or in multiplayer the server admin’s buissiness.
I think it’s a verry scary developpment if we let private companies play censors of speech etc.
(There would be other ways to protect against abuse and predation other than straight up banning words.)

If you were on a realm, unfortunately this can happen, chat is monitored. This is why I advise avoiding realms at all costs and host a server instead (though it is a hassle for console players to join 3rd party servers, at least you have private chat)
Or play Java (not on realms though)

This is why I use a mod to block chat reports on the server I run. Mojang has no business telling me who can or cannot play on MY server.
