At first yes, because you’re a newcomer don’t worry they’re gonna be completely nice once you gain their trust and once they get to know you it’s honestly them like kind of testing you out first once you build their trust up and like start giving them gifts and stuff they will be nicer to you in the game. Don’t worry this is completely normal.

Haley comes across as pretty shallow. She does have a couple of somewhat redeeming cutscenes later on. In my current playthrough I married her so I could see her 14-heart event. It was OK but didn’t turn me into a big Haley fan.

Well Haley is someone who you absolutely can fix. When I started a new playthrough recently, I had to romance her again because that’s my girl

But according to everyone else she has the biggest character development as you gain friendship with her.
