I usually only upgrade my house after my tools, backpack and farm so by the time I get the house upgrades, money is not a problem and I have tons of recipes
Having just started a 25% margin run, I rechecked the house upgrade and just said "nah"
The trauma of getting the kitchen upgrade and having virtually no recipes </3
I'm on the Riverlands farm!
I NEED the room!😂
I love your tip videos for Stardew Valley. I've learned so much from them. Especially the ones for fishing.
I agree that uograding your house too soon can be a real mistake; however, if you only upgrade your house to unlock the kitchen, that is where the sweet spot is. You can get recipes from the TV every Sunday (and repeats on Wednesdays) and also purchase a few from Gus. The real recipes come from befriending people in Stardew Valley. My favourite is befriending Robin for Pumpkin Soup (for when you need luck) or George (eventually he gives you the Spicy Eel recipe, works if you don't already have the Desert trader unlocked, then you just need Rubies).
Anyways, getting back to upgrading your house. I absolutely agree that you should save your hardwood until you have unlocked Ginger Island. This is definitely a great tip for anyone playing Stardew Valley
I upgraded the house with just the first upgrade and was just fine with that. Plus it gave me the sink and I didnt need to make a well which we all agreed that we dont like
I mean, I think I make the second house upgrade waaaaayyy before I complete the community center…
