I could easily see Clint going the way of Hayley or Shane where even if you don't actually romance them they get an great character arc and become better people, even if Clint's worst crime is that he's a little weird about Emily sometimes

Ive never played stardew but i enjoy your content regardless. I know nothing about stardew plot ect, but if this Clint guy is so bad, maybe picking him as your partner will let you do evil things too? Again i know nothing about the game that's just me inferring
I think Clint gets overhated. He's emotionally stunted yeah but he also was forced to work in a blacksmith of a town of less then 40 people his while life. Give the man a break. He also is a homie. The furnace. Paying you to collect ore even though you need it, upgrading your shit. I'm happy he will get more character development.

Clint was always one of my favorite characters and I felt bad for him, he didn't act right but I feel like he can be redeemed but the game never gave him anything
Now I myself don't want to romance him (My loyalty to Penny cannot be broken easily) but I really hope to see him get better
