Hoplites are a very common enemy of the slightly uncommon biome. You can get lots of them by placing water candle and using battle potion.
What I meant by that intro is that it’s the rarest item added in update 1.4.5. There are definitely rarer items in the game overall.
i honestly just used the statue to get one, its rare but it's more convenient
Just wire a hoplite statue to a 1/4 second timer and summon a minion to just slaughter them at high speeds
