Keeping dynamite in your hot bar and not switching off it when you get home isn’t super great, not that I would know from personal experience.

If you ever tried modded you need to keep the super explosives out of you hotbar at all times until you are ready to use it. Trust me I know… because of a friend of course…wink wink nudge nudge

In addition to what others say about managing the hotbar better,
You get used to switching between what you do/don’t need with experience. With this mistake under your belt you’ll probably start to be more aware of when you have bombs selected XD
Nowadays I only struggle to switch when starting a new game, generally between items that merge later in game

No bombs in the hotbar is my policy. If you toss an explosive leave the world and it will dissapear.

One time I blew up a friend’s base semi accidently with a holy hand grenade… youll find out how bad that was once you craft one.

Keep that friend away from my house. They’re the ones who blow up my house the most and go “Sorry, I threw dynamite in the house. Anyways, ima go do something else while you fix it” 😂
