Just kinda seems like an obvious addition, what with the two other "early game weapons themed around fire where you can craft an ice themed version with Ice Torches which inflicts the Frostburn debuff instead of On Fire and is therefore slightly stronger" we have with Frostburn Arrows and now the Wand of Frosting in 1.4.4. I dunno what they'd add for Summoner though

Mace + Frost Core = Frostburn Mace. could have some kind of crazy synergy with the Flaming Mace, kinda like how the Sunfury and Blue Moon can be used together
Frostburn Arrows were added in 2013.
Wand of Frosting in 2022.
If this pattern continues, I would say we’ll see “Freezing Mace” in 2031
