So now that Clint is a marriage candidate, what will be done about the arrangements for the flower dance? Will he partner with Sandy? Will Sandy even be at the events held in town now that she's a candidate? Maybe Clint can give Shane a chance to sit this dumb festival out so he can dance with Emily lol.

Oh, damn, that’s a good question. I wonder what CA is gonna do with that. Because it is part of the plot that you don’t get to see Sandy until the bus in unlocked, along with the fact that Emily even had dialogue about not being able to see her friend (Sandy), so it wouldn’t make sense that Sandy’s suddenly there, and if she does end up being there, then CA would have to do A LOT of updation for that…
Maybe Shane will have to sit out, CA might switch him with Clint, so Emily can dance with Clint; and when the bus is unlocked, it might be Sandy and Shane together for the dance? Idk, but I’m curious how 1.7 will turn out-
I like to think sandy will be showing up around town + events at certain points, it would make sense anyway. Im wishing for flower girl Sandy at least haha. Even if not, im sure there will be some creative work around.
My idea for this would be:
Keep the standard arrangement until you reach the heart threshold for him to say yes.
If you do meet the threshold an optional thing could be having one of the pairs have dialog saying “X and I wouldn’t mind switching with you if there’s someone else you want to dance with.”
If not the farmer could just say “X said we could swap with them” after Clint accepts.
Clint and the Farmer then replace the original pair. This could also work for Sandy once she is available to attend.
I would assume the easiest solution for Clint would be that he doesn’t dance at the Flower Dance unless you ask him to. And then CA could just slot him and the player in on either end of the line next to Leah or Abigail. Same for Sandy.
I’m super curious about this too, particularly how things are going to change with Sandy, like I wonder if she’ll start showing up in town more cause it’d be wild you couldn’t even meet a marriage candidate until you finish a whole bundle, like especially for newer players finishing the community center can take a while and would surprise me at all if some new people he all the way married before even meeting Sandy
I assume she will so up at all events now and I imagine the whole group will just be scooched over a smidge and yeah she will dance with Clint
I’d pair him with Emily and Sandy with Shane. Once Sandy shows up.
Ya know, it feels indicated that if you don’t romance a villager, these are the couples that would come together. Though idk what indication there is in character interactions that Emily would have interest in Shane, I could see the character who has his story arc about his alcoholism having interest in the pretty lady who keeps serving him even though its destroying his life.
But they probably won’t change anything about Clint to indicate interest in Sandy unless they want to abandon the one sided interest in Emily plot that made people hate him.
