  1. I basically always play modded terraria with Fargo's souls and eternity turned on (masochistic is still a bit too hard for my 1k hours ahh 🥀), and i just recently tried to play it with Calamity and the compatability mod, and let me tell you, it was really, really fun and weird. Most bosses didnt take me more then 5 tries, and my main enemies was suprisingly my FPS, i guess 4960 cant handle terraria on a medium world 🙁 also for some reason the dungeon guardian had like 29x the HP? Idk what happened there. Also it took me only 1 attempt to beat Calamitas and like 20 to beat the Mutant

  2. I am a huge proponent of GFB Calamity (currently writing a guide for it), I think it’s overall easier than FTW due to the new sequence breaks but the new AI changes are so goddamn fun and some of them really make you think about fights in a whole new way (e.g. GFB Storm Weaver never loses its armor so it becomes a DoT fight)

  3. Forgot to mention that legendary mode also change/add new attacks to every boss, like the Wall of Flesh in legendary will spawn a ton of imps the entire fight . Golem will be very small, his room/arena is darker and it will spam attacks like his version in calamity

  4. Except for polterghast is so real, absolutely nuts boss. As if everything you put up with during the fight isnt bad enough he gets a final desperation attack phase when you deplete his hp that lasts for forever and requires so much from you

  5. I hate the guardians and goddess in Infernum. The difficulty spike is unreal. I beat them countless of times but they're still by far my worst bosses. And why are the Envoys of the Devourer 20 times easier?? Not to mention Infernum's sand shark boss bricks boss progression on community and multiplayer breaks the mod entirely (same as in Wotg). How does one manage to break a multiplayer supported mod this badly. I'm honestly shocked by how much I grew to hate Infernum and Wotg and I'm just playing them for the challenge by now.

  6. Ragnarok is actually an addon to the infernum mod, while it does combine all the mods you mentioned it also has increased difficulty and harder bosses then infernum, the mod also re tiers bosses and balances boss from every mod that its used for

  7. I also ragequit at polterghast but on my second (and absolutely cursed) playthrough I finally beat him. Then I ragequit at DoG and im never booting that trash mod ever again. That shit is no longer terraria and i refuse to spend dozens of hours practicing just so I dont get snuffed in literal seconds. Good thing base calamity is becoming just as visually aesthetic as infernum.

  8. malice also just enraged the bosses too and im pretty sure it got removed barely a year later. i personally never played it because i wasn't even skilled enough for revengeance (i took 230 attempts on scal)

  9. My question is why isnt Infernum just an automatic addition to calamity besides difficulty? Its like literally an improvement, why is it something to decide if you want it or not (BESIDES THE DIFFICULTY)

  10. Dont know why, but i found a vast majority of infernum easier than death mode. Except for dog, polterghast, and astrageldon. Fuck polterghast and astrageldon

  11. Infernum isn't "harder" it just reworks bosses from the ground up, while also knowing how to make fun and engaging fights. It's literally just calamity but competent.
