Do you have a Minecraft world that was your magnum opus & nothing else you made really came close?
Mine is the Triunion of Tretonia a Minecraft nation I made solo on Xbox with 2000 builds and lore from 2017 until it got too big for it’s own good and died in 2024
Me and 30 other people (everyone in our friend group) have a four year long survival server, it’s quite interesting, half of us are incredibly skilled pvpers and the rest are insane builders, we’ve had huge wars lasting months ingame, and the server is still thriving, it’s really fun and we have a custom plugin for a crown, which the leader of each team gets with special abilities

Yes. It was a creative Java world we started about when the Update Aquatic was still in the snapshot phase.
It was a beachside that connected to many different biodomes that held the new mobs and aquatic features like coral, magma vent, etc. The biggest and coolest was a huge dome that basically add mini versions of the different ocean biomes, including a dead reef as well, along with a observation deck. The idea was we would make a new dome for every snapshot and do a video series about them (never got around to do so). We continue to make new domes for every new snapshot with every mob and features including a small recreation of the Deep Dark and the Ancient City underground that originally had a Warden.
However, something happened. For some f–king reasons, our computer stopped working around when the Tricky Trails started entering the snapshot phase, and the only way to make it work again was deleting all the files from it, including Minecraft worlds. All that work down the toilet because of a issue that we have no idea why it happened.

I have a savegame dating back to 1.7 (i think?) with a build named Castle Shinbreaker, named as such because we still had the old fall damage sounds back then and i did *a lot* of falling during its build.
It’s a horribly outdated cobble-and-oak-plank monstrosity of a thing that i’ve long since moved on from in skill, but *the scale*… I’ve never built anything so ambitious since, and probably never will again. It took me years of obsessive building. I emptied the caves of iron for my tools for miles around, to the point where i had to build railroads just to find more (counterproductive, i know).
It covers an entire solitary mountain, from base to peak. You can barely even see the mountain underneath it all. It’s got its own internal farms, multiple courtyards, and a horrendous maze of ladders and rooms that is all too easy to get lost in. Seeing that thing looming in the distance whenever i come home is still awesome.

The one where me and my friend got all trophies+expansion packs. Never got so invested into a world before.

Yeah but nowhere close to the complexity of this.
