Is it possible to make a 2×10 hidden floor staircase but instead of stairs, use slabs and blocks to make the descent slower? I have not found any tutorials on the internet.
Probably possible, but the redstone would be crazy. Instead of just pushing the slabs up and down, every pair of bottom slabs would have to be pushed aside and replaced with full blocks. Good luck.
If you want the floor completely flushed, just full blocks, good luck, that takes a lot of block swapping. There is currently no way to push a slab only half up with pistons.
So you can do just normal 2×2 piston extenders the way down and when it’s closed it will be slab block, slab block
