Tried to make them look more natural, like if they were carved out of wood but without looking too modern. Also made the trapdoor color actually match the door, something which Mojang couldn’t do apparently.
Btw these are actually custom models, which allows for unique hinge textures and is the reason why I was able to have each door be different in a double setup!

The unevenness makes it look like shoddy woodwork. Doesn’t really fit in with the rest of minecraft’s building blocks, which are clean and precise. This would only be suitable for specific fantasy builds, like a hobbit hole or a dwarf house perhaps.

Are you sticking to sticking to the 16x?
If you do a higher resolution you can get more detail and make it look better.

It’s like a more vanilla friendly version of the cartoon texture pack from Legacy Console.

It looks too different
As a separate type of wood it’d be really nice tho

Maby this would be nice if you crafted the door with logs then got like 12 doors

Not sure how I feel about the circle holes but the log and plank texture looks nice if your doing the whole pack

I disagree with some of the comments — this looks MUCH more like OAK wood. Minecraft’s palette is weird. You fixed it. It gives “plain oak door” vibes which is PERFECT for a better detailing space!

If minecraft supported a skill tree with crafting quality and all this would either be a level 1 door or a level 2 door if there are quality 4 levels

I like it. The original one looks like a cheep IKEA door. This just looks like some real Oak wood. I am looking forward to seeing the other doors 🙂

that is a big no.

It’s fine, but I really don’t see the point of a texture pack that doesn’t increase the resolution. From my experience going up to a 64x texture doesn’t really put much stress on most systems unless your computer is struggling to play the base game. Even on my tablet I’m running a 128x texture pack without any issues.

cool you manage to do that but sorry I dont like them and vanila version is nicer to me, but have fun making another fun stuff
