Would be a great idea to try to build with these "settings" on, using some random blocks(and install some kind of mode to make textures/names disappear in inventory)!
This makes me want to use cheats to reveal the whole map, then play like this to see if it is easier to find things.
I often use this both for visual clarity during a build
or for effectively night vision early on before torches/light pets are an abundance
granted I keep it at like 25-33% opacity so I do still see the enemies and such
Ive used this to find echo blocks in liquid before, they show as nothing on the map, its pretty useful for the seed combo that generates invis spikes around chests, not much else tho
Recently learned this is what speedrunners use
