  1. “bad laptop”

i was expecting at least a 10 years old i3 with 8gb of ddr3 or some shit

  2. Thats good for most mod pack, just allow more ram for minecraft and you should be good even on some rpg pack (at low setting atleast)

I doubt you could comfortably run any medium-large 1.7 modpacks anyway, considering it’s less optimized than 1.12+. So don’t worry about greg popping up in the comments or in your sleep.

Both curseforge and modrinth have a “light” tag which you can browse through.

I’d suggest a skyblock-type pack since there won’t be much of world generation/rendering to worry about. [Ultimate Alchemy (1.12.2)](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/ultimate-alchemy) comes to mind as a relatively light one.

I feel personaly attacked this is a good laptop not top shelf sure , but it’s not bad it’s slightly better than mine and I do play most if not all modpacks but I would recomend some kind of skyblock , stone block pack they tend to be easier to run + if you play on a serwer it get’s way better.

Your CPU is better than mine. except for my 20gb DDR ram, I dont even have Grapic card.

From my experience, I dont really had any problem running most heavy modpack except some lag spikes. ex ATM9.
