Aaaannnd, thats one of the only reasons i sometimes pick crimson gone.
Corruption is much better for pre hardmode because of Ancient Shadow armor’s accessibility, significantly better hamburger farming, Wrath Potions, Vile Thorn for mage players, Musket, ect.
while crimson is better for hardmode because of Ichor, Flesh Knuckles and MAYBE the other mimic weapons
BUT, you can just buy crimson seeds. I mean Vampire Knives are really good and Brain Of Confusion is really good with Mage and Summoner but you can get it easily at hardmode anyway
