I just want to say that the community of Stardew fans last night were amazing. There was a farmer handing out blue chicken magents (I got one because I had on a shirt that had all of the chickens on it that stated, "I have to go. My chickens need me!"), everyone complimented everyone's apparel and cosplays (especially the Qi cosplayer and all of the Harvey ones haha), there was basically zero talking during the performance, chatted with alot of the farmers there with little to no anxiety (that's a win for me because I'm usually incredibly introverted and anxious) and overall? It was an amazing time!
Shoutout to our man ConcernedApe for crafting a game that brings us so much joy and for cultivating one of the greatest communities I've ever been apart of. I almost cried the moment the character screen song was played because man…this game saved my life a million times over.
All of that to say thank you for being such a great community.
Special Shoutout to the other farmer that sat in S3 next to my best friend and I. I hate your pal got sick and couldn't join you, but I hope for the few hours we were there and chatted with you, we made you feel comfy and kept you company through it all. Wish I had introduced myself properly. Also hope ya got home safe man. 😊
