  1. I understand these update drops are small and nothing crazy, but at least we’re getting frequent ones instead of waiting yearly. We should be glad this game is still getting updated

  2. Idk but you are talking about the cuteness thing or the size of updates but it doesn’t matter because they really should alternate on both things. Big and small updates, not one or the other. Cute and scary updates, not one or the other.

  3. They specifically made updates small and frequent for a reason
The devs were pushed too hard with the big updates and now they are trying to do small one.

I think they will release a big one from time to time

  4. Greedy microslop could make these updates paid DLC just be grateful ya get non stop content for no extra cost

Bro said “I hope we don’t get updates like these” then proceeded to leave the caption blank. How am I supposed to even understand you if you act like you’re just unreasonable and upset you didn’t get what you wanted?

  6. If you’re going to make a controversial statement, at least be unambigious about it. What’s the problem with these updates? That they’re animal-centric?

  7. How about you don’t be the whiniest fan base of all time, and enjoy your free updates on your 15 year old game, Jesus Christ

They are also making big changes to things like rendering engine, which is less noticable, but paving the way to other things, so I’d say that these small drops are just something to tide us over.

Why? Spring to life has been one of my fav updates in recent times. It brought so much life to the game

I’d rather get a small update every month than a big one once every 18 months.

people act like this isn’t new

these drops have far more content than most Secret Friday Updates from a decade ago, but nobody complained when Notch barely changed the game

  12. they were burnt out with the big updates that’s why they pushed out these small updates.

The code and rendering engine beneath the game is being improved.

It’s definitely worth having smaller “content” drops so that time can be spent making the game run smoother and faster.

And in the long term it’s easier to develop the game.

Minecraft did 1 big update each year and people complained that it’s too long between updates. They decide to switch to multiple small updates each year for all the people complaining and get hate for having minimal content in the more frequent updates
