Hey everyone! Wanted to share this 1:1 scale recreation of a late 19th-century pre-revolutionary corner building, based on the architecture in Kharkiv.
If you look at the historical centers of cities like Kharkiv, Odessa, or Rostov, this specific style – Russian Provincial Eclecticism or “Brick Style” is everywhere. It usually features heavy, rusticated masonry on the commercial ground floor and highly detailed, unplastered brickwork for the wealthy residential upper floors.
Using Display Entities took so much time, it really feels more like 3D software rather than Minecraft hahah, but I really wanted to push the limits of the game in terms of details and realism. Let me know in the comments what you think

Damn, that’s crazy

I have a few ways of un-display-entity-izing this build, but it would never look as good.
Like THE BEST I could ever do for those windows at 1:1 scale is corner mushroom blocks which have 2 textures instead of one. And that technique would be rather survival difficult

Looks awesome, and still minecrafty.
Do you know how many displays there are? And does it cause any performance hit?

I scrolled passed it before realizing it was Minecraft, damn
