My DM gave me full creative freedom and, over the course of a year and 3 days, I used it to the moon and back (our campaign is on the moon of Tortuga haha I'm so funny (I hate everything)). When I tell you I had to "trust the process" with every single piece I made, I'm not kidding. I almost cried multiple times. Now that I'm thinking about it, I probably did cry multiple times.
As said in the title, these are the paintings that I put in my character, Athena's, penthouse, starting with my favorite, labeled "My Dallie Bug". It is made based off of the only photo she has of her mother, from when Athena was two years old.
I tried a bunch of styles while making these paintings and learned soooo much I thought my brain was going to explode. I was very new to chisels & bits when I first started this project, but I can confidently say I'm just about moderate-intermediate after this lol. I still have so much to learn but at least I know how to make a curve with different rounding smoothness now (I hate circles with a passion).
I was also finally able to show my DM and party tonight during session, which was so exciting since only half of them knew the extent of what I was doing. But now, y'all get to see it, too!!
(The last one was meant to be seen from a distance so please don't judge too much. I judge it enough for the both of us. Also don't mind the blocks behind it. They were destroyed shortly after being cemented into my screenshot.)
Enjoy!
