  2. The second group seems to think it will incentivize bigger updates, i think the reputation of a community thats always upset at updates is a good reason to just focus more on other means of promoting the game, but maybe its an ‘any publicity is good publicity’ type deal for them

    Bullshit, we have been screaming about how we want the end update for years now. There are dozens of the stuff that the community is asking for and just get ignored of shut down for the stupidest reasons.

    I mostly agree with this but pointing out that Minecraft has infinite money is kinda important for establishing the standards it should be held to.
