i’m currently on year 5 any have never encountered a dinosaur egg. I play co-op with my boyfriend and he managed to find one and decided to donate it to the museum, I let it slide since he hasn’t played this before but I can’t seem to find another one.
I’ve maxed out all my levels, got treasure totems, challenge bait, you name it! I’m seriously struggling and just want some dinos on my farm!
any ideas?

Dinos are great and you can make mayonnaise and get a pretty good profit from that.
easiest way to get dino eggs is to kill dinosaurs in skull cavern
Skull carverns is the most reliable. Monster musk+ Staircase down until you find a prehistoric floor.
i’d try spending time in the skull cavern, there will occasionally be prehistoric floors where there are dinosaur enemies which have a 10% chance to drop the egg! i’d also check for spots to dig up especially in the mountains and quarry. wishing you the best of luck!

Most reliable way is killing Pepper Rexes in the Skull Cave, but you can also get them from Fishing Chests, Artifact Spots, or even Dogs with max friendship
I got two from fishing in the same save 😭
Luck I got one yesterday at the very end of a skull caverns run. You also have a chance of getting one by digging up an artifact spot in the mountains by mommy Robin’s house
i think i got mine while i was fishing y1, i hated the mines so all i did was fish 💀

Go to the skull cavern and kill dragons
Personally, I think fishing is the easiest way to get it. Maybe treasure totem in the quarry on ginger island but I got this egg most the time with fishing

I got mine from a fishing chest, but I believe a dinosaur-like enemy in the Skull Caverns also drops them.
