I Played AI Minecraft Marketplace Maps

I Played Maps from the Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace that appear to have been made with AI. I’ve played a lot of other “slop” from the Minecraft Marketplace but to me this takes the cake. It’s only a matter of time until Mods (Addons) are also effected by this. What are your thoughts on AI being used on the Bedrock Edition Marketplace?

  1. i hope people stop relating the em dash “—“ to ai because ai literally stole it from writers 😭 now readers can’t differentiate the em dash from real to fake ,_,

  2. Most of these things obviously use A.I to create features or characters which is truly sad to see. The whole point of Minecraft was to build and create and be expressive, A.I takes that away completely. Not just the fact that it takes away any creativity but also is harming the environment to make a game hardly anyone is going to buy unless they're you or a kid with unlimited free time (No shade). I honestly want to thank you for making this video even if it's a small little review because it just shows how (some) of these games are really just farms for money taking the meaning of creating in Minecraft in the first place.

  3. Em-dashes, which are longer than a hyphen (as wide as the letter M), ARE a sign of A"I", but aren't used to merge words. Here's an example of how em-dashes are used, using hyphens as a placeholder: "blah blah blah blah-I am an AI language model-blah blah blah blah"

  4. The first map is a pretty old game concept. There is a similar addon for Garry's mod (i think called Guess Who) and other games like sniper party (or spy party, i forgot).

It is decently fun with friends. There is no single player tho, there is no point to play it single.

  5. 2:50 the Hyphen (-) in "player-like" is not an AI artifact because it's a normally hypehnated word, and the gyphen is on a regular English keyboard. You're thinking of the Em-Dash (—), which is not on a regular English keyboard, but is typically overused by LLMs because of its high versatility, where it can be used to punctuate any part of a sentence.

  6. Em-dashes specifically which are just longer versions of "-"
Though, as a writer who uses em-dashes…
It sucks. It sucks when I make something and someone is like "SCARY GPT, OH NOOO"
