The Chillet is probably one of, if not the best pre-hardmode mount as of now. You can potentially acquire it near the beginning of the game, if you can find dragon eggs that generate in the cavern layer. It’s not too hard to find one.
It’s very good as it has a slightly upwards angled I-Frame dash, being the only mount to have a dash and a unique one at that, a top speed of 46 which can replace hermes boots, and it increases your attack by 10%. Overall I would say it’s probably at least 2nd place, almost as good, if not better than the rollerskates. The Chillet is best with featherfall potions and double jump accessories just in case anyone wants to try it out against bosses.
