if we fall asleep inside the house but not in the bed i feel like we should just start off the next day with 0 energy. makes sense that we get penalized financially for falling asleep outside of the house, but inside makes no sense.

I strongly wish that didn’t happen! Let me wake up with half of my energy gone, with my spouse annoyed with me, but don’t ducking tell me that Linus found me next to my bed! There’s no need for that!

Honestly, it probably is a mysterious person, considering that stealing money would require Linus to spend and use money. And that man has his preferences on which trash cans to raid at night as well as has turned down a free house.
You can argue ‘hey sometimes he gives out diamonds’ but if he can go into the mine, he can find a diamond with little issue.

I’m so confused by everyone complaining about receiving a ‘I found you Letter’ from Linus when passing out beside their bed.
I have never received one of these after passing out at 2am INSIDE my house. And it occurs far more than I’d like to admit.
I’ve only ever recieve one if I fall asleep somewhere outside.
