  1. It’s a large vein. They exist for copper and iron and were added in 1.18. Pretty neat for early game farming before you have an iron farm

    Yes I have seen it. Many times. Most people that seriously play Minecraft have.

    It’s a standard Minecraft feature called ore vein. They exist for Copper and iron.

    Yours got drilled into by the cave. All the iron you see is one vein.

    Early-game, this is an absolute jackpot. You can get like 5-10 stacks of iron here, including compacted ore blocks even. Iron veins are found in deepslate levels, mixed with tuff.

    There are also copper veins much higher up, and those are mixed with granite
