Correct. They are not indestructible, they just don’t decay like normal fencing does.

Yep weeds wiped out a few of my rarecrows. I pretty much quit that farm after that happened.

Weeds and seasonal debris can spread to any non-grassy dirt tile and destroy anything (except chests). A way to protect your fence would be to put grass underneath each lightning rod. Animals can’t eat that grass, but it can help spread it if your animals eat everything else.

Debris can spawn on any tile that is not covered by a path, and it will destroy anything that is placed there, including your machines, and expensive statues. Put paths under any objects you have lying around on the farm to protect them – cobblestone paths are usually the least “visible” ones to hide under things like lightning rods that don’t fully cover the tile.

Yesterday I had Jas randomly walking around my farm and she was destroying trees 😠I have zero mods she eventually walked into the woods I kept my eye on her to watch the destruction

They can destroy even the rare scarecrows
