are you able to go back to 1.18 or wherever they may generate then go back to 1.21 to have them back? or does the world corrupt

I just want big oceans back in general, ever since they essentially swapped the generation it’s hard to find good oceans

i didnt know they generated in the first place

like specifically? or was it just that islands could generate close together? i always wondered how we know stuff like this when they’re not considered biomes.

  4. top down maps of the world look so different from before and after that update. The mountains have gotten better recently but everything else feels markedly worse. I did an unscientific test too and went back to older versions and I hate the caves, but above land has a lot of variety in crappy busted up geometry and unique landmarks I would have to generate 10000 worlds to see anything like it again, but each of those worlds would have something like that above ground.

Another casualty from the world generation change.

I still think it needs tweaking or at least give us different worlds gen algorithm options. Like from previous versions and a new tweaked 1.18+ one that just adds back large oceans.

If bringing it back brings those god awful endless ocean to my worlds then i never want to see these again.

  7. I wish minecraft generate more flatter lands , less islands based generation and more like continent shape with small islands and big ocean.

  8. Cap. Whole reason i hated 1.19. Was because that’s all i coild find. This probably happened in 1.20. Bcuz since then i haven’t seen them
