12 in game years. So many Skull Cavern dives with all the luck buffs I can throw at it trying to get a treasure room for an auto petter…even tried going to the mines with the Shrine of Challenge hoping it would be a loot drop…and I got TWO from golden mystery boxes with a large batch!!
Those boxes have been sitting there forever too🤣 under my nose the whole time

are these things really that rare? my friend and I just casually found three of them in years 4 and 5 while grinding Pepper Rexes

After multiple saves and grinding and still never finding one, I decided to use the cheat code bc I was fed up. Got one naturally the next in game day 🙃

I am going to take my luck then lol – started a new save recently after not playing for a hot minute and I ended up with an auto petter beginning of year two from a treasure level in skull cavern. Has definitely made this play through more tolerable lol!
I got two of them today in one skull cavern run with a third one two in-game days prior from a golden mystery box in year 3 of my first save.

Yeah fr I’ve only ever gotten three in the many MANY IRL years of gameplay. Yes, I do believe they are that rare.
