I didn’t love the desaturation job they did on the new blocksets in the beta release (sulfur blocks look close to End stone blocks right now), but I also wasn’t super on board with the original colors seen during Minecraft Live – I think that this middle ground brings much of the vibrancy back without going overboard.

Middle one actually looks like sulfur instead of dehydrated cheese.

I personally like the more muted colors, they vibe alot better with my building style than anything vibrant

in my mind of your going to show something and set the expectation it’s just down rite disingenuous to suddenly turn around and de-saturate the hell out of the blocks. to leave them the way they are is a huge slap in the face to the community. the proposed middle ground is a good combination of both versions.

I’ll just wait for Modernarch to put their spin on it, it’ll most likely look way better.

Right sulfur is too close to endstone and sandstone

I completely agree that the current one looks way too desaturated, and I like the golden look of the original one. Now we have it looking a little more realistic, but that’s boring in this case.

IMO I like the Minecraft live version of sulfur but like the in between version of cinnabar.
