This is the minecraft tower I've been occasionally playing in/on/with for around 2 years

I don't like loading too many chunks cause I don't want to have to travel 10k blocks just to get to new update stuff in the future (nor do I like resetting chunks excessively each time there is an update).

So, as a result, I spent all my time at my spawn chunks and built up this little wizard tower.

I tried to make it progressively more whimsical as I went on.

A "normal" lower section, a more "unrealistic" floating wing section and then a full on "magic" floating section to indicate some sort of arcane progression in the tower itself.

The lower part was my starter base and is basically completely unused now. I'm planning on turning it into an "overgrown" version of itself that will be a mini garden.

The mid section houses a small garden, some farms, basic cow/sheep/pig/chicken farms (although part of it burnt down and I haven't gotten new cows/sheep after they all died in the fire) and an iron farm, nether portal, small smithy.

The top section has my new storage room (which I could trash and remake now that they added copper golems), Grand Library and Research center.

I didn't go into the interiors much, because I am just reusing footage I took for a minecraft video I made, shameless plug, aaahh, just kidding, I feel a lot of shame. Which is also why it includes some small structures I built in creative.

I don't really like super massive mega builds, so, everything I built, I want it to feel like could belong or have belonged in vanilla survival at some point.

A small corridor inside a jungle temple, a ruined tower in the desert, a fishing village thats based on an actual village that spawned in the ocean, a small forest grove.

Its fun to build in a way that is a bit more immersive imo. I didnt go to the nether until I built the nether tower wing in my tower.

And I didn't get diamond tools until I built my small smithy wing.

No properly enchanted (max enchantment/mending) tools until I built my grand library

No netherite until I finish my research wing (which I still need to interior decorate) and a grand smithy (idk where it will go space wise but I'll figure it out)

And no Nether highways until I build a newer (more stable, story wise) nether spire tower wing (which will be upside down)

Lots to do, lots to do

I take long breaks from playing sometimes, but I hope I'll keep coming back to my tower for more years to come.

Even though the state of updates and Minecraft itself has me worried (hint hint, watch the video and don't take down my post pls)

TLDR: Minecraft
