I don’t even care about updates anyway. I do make fun of the new update naming (and act like I’m waiting for 1.22) but that’s it.
But that copper update turned a chest filler into easy armor and tools at least while you are finding iron and diamonds.

I don’t want an end update, I want an update that changes the game in a major way, we’ve had small updates for a long time now. But the End has the most potential and is underutilized as hell. I’d be glad even if they made a big update on anything but the End seems like a good point to target.

I just want actual updates again. Update Aquatic, Village and Pillage, Nether Update, and Caves and Cliffs were all SPECTACULAR updates that provided meaningful improvements to core aspects of the game. But nowadays, we just get a miscellaneous scattering of unrelated features that barely add anything actually useful or impactful at all. When they switched to drops, they SAID they’d occasionally do large updates. But so far, that hasn’t been true at all. I’d even be happy if they split up a large update into multiple smaller updates that joined together to provide a meaningful addition, like with Caves and Cliffs! That’s how Don’t Starve Together does its updates and it works great! But no.
