If you are a Roblox developer, how have your experiences been with the Roblox algorithm and audience?

As a more broad question to everyone, what are your thoughts on a platform that incentivizes creating this particular kind of gameplay being as prevalant as it is?

Ngl I think most kids could make this kinda game in a day, maybe put some time into the modeling and level design instead of so much thought into analyzing average play duration, because if your game actually looked like it took 18 years to make average play time would just go up on its own. I don’t see a single animation or any form of visual feedback besides the fading floor pieces. The keys don’t even indicate you’ve picked them up in any way, there’s no progress animations or sound effects, it just looks so bland and mediocre. What I wonder is if this took 18 years to make, what did you even spend that time doing? Cause it clearly wasn’t spent making the game

  2. If this is what you produce after 18 years of experience, maybe the problem lies with you and not the algorithm.

Let’s remember; just because you put in effort, doesn’t mean you are entitled to success.

Roblox doesn’t incentivise any particular type of game, they incentivise maning games that people play. Make a fun game and people will play it.

Dude i m crine 😭😭😭 this game looks like hot butt

There’s no way you spent 18 years on this, either your just saying shit or never actually evolved past your first year.
