Not sure if rough gradients or smooth gradients look better in general by Im-a-tire Minecraft Minecraft Builds
No_Initiative1393 on April 4, 2026 12:39 am I would include polished andesite in the gradient it’s a good transition between cobble and andesite imo
One_Economist_3761 on April 4, 2026 1:03 am I prefer cobble -> mossy cobble -> tuff It makes for a less stark transition.
Panda2377 on April 4, 2026 1:23 am I think the second image is better but the transition is to tough adding a block between cobblestone and andesite.
No-Mulberry-9904 on April 4, 2026 1:49 am the transition when you have the different blocks blend in the 2nd image is way better and natural looking.
Valuable-Garbage on April 4, 2026 1:58 am There is no objectively better type, each one plus a combination of the two have many best use cases.
Killerninjaz13Two on April 4, 2026 4:16 am Try using tuff instead of cobblestone ive changed one of my gradient builds and it does look better

Isn’t andesite lighter than both stone and cobblestone?

I’d recommend replacing andesite with gravel.
