So I'm in Winter of Year 1, first ever playthrough right? 7 hearts with Emily; things have been mostly platonic but that dance she did "for my eyes only" had me like 👀👀👀 Simultaneously, I happen to be getting to know Clint; a bit taciturn but not a bad guy. One day, I get mail from Clint asking to give Emily some amethyst and tell her it's from him.
Now Emily might be on my radar but I'm no player hater; if homeboy needs some help to shoot his shot I ain't mad at it. One quick trip to the mines later, I have amethyst. It happens to be a Sunday evening so Emily will be working at the pub. I go there thinking this will be an interesting scene for it's insight into Emily's perception of Clint.
I get there, chat up Emily (for myself), then give her Clint's gift. Wingman of the year right? Bruh my farmer either muddles his delivery or Emily misinterprets what I'm saying because she has this^^^ reaction! I'm just imagining Clint watching from across the room clenching his drink and scowling as I, from his perspective, shark out his crush with a gift idea Clint conceived. I feel like a villain y'all ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

well its not like you stole the amethyst from clint, you got it yourself!
Clint could have acted like a grown adult and give the gift to Emily himself, instead he went through you like the middle schooler he still mentally is, so that’s on him (i really dislike Clint)
