By placing a sulfur cube on top of a wall, and then pushing another wall inside of the sulfur cube, you can make slabs of any block that a sulfur cube can become. Just throw a splash potion of invisibility on the cube to get rid of the outline, and you'll be left with just the block.

wouldn’t you also have the particle effects from the splash potion? and you’d have to re-up it every like, 8 minutes.
