Just wear leather boots lol. But yeah losing a horse to powdered snow is brutal, especially after accidentally hitting it too

There were a few things I would have done differently but look on the bright side, he’s still alive!

  3. I had a similar scare a few years ago involving a beloved horse and a deep trench (thankfully the horse survived, but barely).

After that incident, I always made sure to carry a few emergency hay bales with me whenever I was traveling

Powdered snow taking my best horse away from me was how I started wrapping my horse up in Leather armor instead or diamond armor in Singleplayer.

  5. Try to not panic and waste so much time next time, plus hitting the horse doesn’t help.

  6. it is a little ridiculous that the powdered snow replaces dirt and stone. also that it exists… i hate that biome.

Never run on snow, man. If you do, only run on snow that has layers on top of it. POWDER (not powdered) snow does not have layers on top.

Always have a shovel or a water bucket as well. Pretty easy to be prepared or even avoid it altogether.
