Totally! Multiple ways to do this.
The easiest way would be to have the middle part just lower into the ground.
You’ll find a lot of tutorials on this especially if you search after “Minecraft stair door”
What you can do is lower the middle part 3 blocks into the ground, and then push the flat block and going down stairs in from the side. And play the sequence in reverse to close it
