

I was bored of my old aether biome so I decided to upgrade it into a showcase room for developer sets (+Chippy). It also works as a home for the princess and squire slime. Work in progress due since I have not yet acquired every developer set and I think it will take a long time grinding bosses to get the rest. Maybe I`ll add something else there too if I get an idea.
I also wanted to build an armor showcase room and later weapon and vanity room too. The pre-hardmode part of the armor room is finished, with the excepiton of the Angler set (replaced it with fish set lol), since it`s limited to one per world (or character?) and I have the upgraded Sea Captain set on my fishing preset.
I tried to make a themed area for each armor and I spent quite a lot of time on messing with different wall combinations for the rooms. It is fun to try out different building and painting mechanics and see which walls and blocks work together, since I have not used this many different blocks on any of my builds yet. The rooms are separated with offline diamond gemspark walls and glass blocks, both painted black. The glass blocks are actuated just in case I need to change something later and to save the trouble of breaking and replacing the blocks.
Overall a nice project to do mainly because I get to use alot of blocks and techniques which I haven`t even thought about while building my pylon bases. I guess they`ll get an upgrade too after I`m finished with the armor/weapon rooms.
