I saw it at 5 roe, with no golden cracker or anything, just default. I assume it is just some weird code thing and it's an astronomically low chance or something, but I'd like an actual answer. I dunno how the code works so if someone does could they look into it?
It'd give me some peace of mind, because a certain person insisted it was impossible, and has made me feel a bit crazy… And if it is just a really low chance I can have that as one of my life windfalls or something lmao, stardew angler fishing pond lottery… Please and thank yall in advance.

My teacher was right.
wiki is not a reliable source!
if you leave the roe uncollected it will stack with the roe from previous days. Eg. 3 roe on day 1, 2 roe on day 2 is a possibility for how this screenshot happend.

Considering the Legend can produce up to 9 (18 with animal cracker) roe a day it’d be weird that the Angler can only do 4.
Fish ponds can crank out a lot of roe. Had a legend pond produce 12 one night.
