Wouldn't it be cool if caves were regional? For example, if not all caves were just stone. What if I went into a cave in an arctic/snowy biome and it was made out of ice? Or, how about a swamp cave? Is there a mod that does this?

I have played a datapack called terralith and it had frozen caves which had a ton of blue ice

it would be cool if certain cave biomes frequently genreate underneath specific biomes only

    We definitely need more variety.

It’s a shame we lost out of Mushroom and Crystal Caves, which ushered in the “Concept Art is not commitment,” and Jasper saying, “They were cliche,” responses we got.

If they would reevaluate those ideas into implementation; I guarantee a lot of people would be happy. Oh, and improving the Sulfur Cave surface hot springs to be beautiful landmarks across arid biomes.

Especially if we get more blocks that gives us more flexibility to work with colors that aren’t explored enough.

  4. What would the ores be like? Ice encased ores? They can’t be the regular ones or they’d stick out like a sore thumb

I think ice caves are a thing that will be added for sure.

I’ve also wondered if the nether will ever get the Leviticus /limbo theme- the original nether to the nether update did seem loosely themed on the layers of hell, and that idea hasn’t been fully expanded upon yet.

Also/ hard no to frog lights existing naturally. I like that they are a bitch to get; and cool lights are my fav thing in game tbh.

However, say a ruined portal spawned in a swamp or mangrove biom….
